Mário Silveiro de Barros completed his PHD in Law, with a Doctoral thesis in Social Security Procedural Law at the Law Faculty of the University of La Coruña, Spain. In addition to 1 published book, he published 8 articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals and 4 individual chapters in collective books. He presented several on-site talks and communications at scientific events (conferences and seminars). He also has a professional activity as a lawyer in the area of labour law, social security and commercial law. At ISCTE he is a Visiting Professor, lecture in the courses of Social Security Law and Labor Procedural Law.
